Tomi Nels

Tomi Nels is a drifting cosmonaut. He was found sleeping, after years of hibernation, near the peak of Mauna Loa. Stories still circulate on how he ended up here (on earth) or why he was sent. Unfortunately, Tomi can’t provide any context of his time in the cosmos because his memories are fragmented leaving him disillusioned. His ship was nowhere to be found and all that he carried with him was a locket of a lover whom he can’t even remember her name. He spends his days traveling this planet writing poems to express his longing for what must have once been his home.

 

These are his poems. Don’t perceive them in an earthly context. Remember, he isn’t from here and he’s longing to return to his people.
